Meet one of the new hopefuls of the Boxing 360 team, Aleem "The Hammer" Whitfield. A hard punching, aggressive fighter that brings intensity and excitement to the ring along with an easy going, happy disposition outside of it. Whitfield is one of the rare men who understands the value of hard work and how precious the time is for a boxer to develop and ply his trade. Whitfield started going to the gym at age eight to watch his brother train. Growing up watching Roy Jones, Jr., and Sugar Shane Mosley, he played football but dreamt of becoming a boxer. Naturally, by the time he was twelve, Whitfield decided he was done watching and got in the ring.

He grew into a talented amateur who was once ranked #2 in the country as a middleweight. As a professional, Whitfield now stands at 3-0 with 3 knockouts, two in opening round. His debut, against Zack Thomas showed Whitfield's patience and experience as a fighter. Working behind a stiff jab and using hard combinations, Whitfield took control and then ended things with one hard shot. Following a break from the sport between November of 2009 and October of this year, he resumed his career with a newfound focus and appreciation for what he was born to do.
