Guyana born super middleweight contender Lennox Allen has seen much in his few years as a pro. A standout amateur in his homeland with 42 bouts, Allen turned pro in 2004, fighting mainly out of Georgetown, Guyana. Allen took his act on the road to as far off as Perth, Australia and then back again, making a name for himself enough to garner interest from world class fighters like Howard Eastman, Glen Johnson, and Bernard Hopkins. Allen, with his lanky frame, ability to fight from welterweight to super middleweight, and tricky southpaw style prepared both Hopkins and Johnson for light heavyweight and former world champion Antonio Tarver. He was scheduled to face Eastman for a bout before it fell through in early 2009.

Allen is a boxer puncher who uses his movement, awkward style and aggressive approach to get in, get out and leave his opponent worse for wear.

Allen displayed that style when he entered history as a participant on a Showtime televised Andre Ward card in 2007 on the island of St. Lucia. Allen took on Jonathon Nelson and stopped him on a brutal barrage of body and head shots in the first round.

From there, Allen's career stalled a bit. He was scheduled to take on Howard Eastman in April of 2009 but the bout fell apart late in the training camp and Allen instead posted a win over Leon Gilkes to take the Guyanese Super Middleweight title. Allen is currently Guyana's number one ranked super middleweight.

In 2010, after a layoff due to immigration issues, Allen came to the US and began training in New York at the Trinity Boxing Gym with trainer Colin Morgan. Under his guidance, Allen signed with Boxing 360 and began the process of resuming his winning streak. Allen returned in March 2010 and hammered out a six round decision over Amador Acevedo.

The sky is truly the limit for this young exciting talent.
