On Fightnews.com and boxingscene.com, it was reported that Saul “Canelo” Alvarez weighed in at early Wednesday per the World Boxing Council’s thirty day weigh-in rule. Canelo was 166.8, well under the 169 pound limit.

Canelo is set to face Floyd “Money” Mayweather September 14 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV live on Showtime Pay-per-view. The fight is to be held at a catch weight of 152 pounds.
No word if Mayweather was weighed on Wednesday.
