Robert Guerrero (29-1-1) vs. Selcuk Aydin (23-0)

Boxing360’s Pick: This is tough fight. Selcuk Aydin is a rough customer who is a career welterweight but has gone life and death with lower level opposition.

Robert Guerrero is a multiple division champion with an good amateur pedigree and all-round skills. But is he a welterweight? His last fight was at 135 pounds then eh suffered an injury and has sat out ever since. Its been over a year since he has fought. Now that is fighting, he is moving from 135 pounds to 147. It’s a rare feat for a fighter who has was once a featherweight to move that high up and succeed.

Aydin is solid if unspectacular. Guerrero is a blue collar fighter risking that he can be a welterweight in one fight. We want our fighters to risk and this is exactly that. Guerrero by decision.

Shaw Porter
Shaw Porter

Shawn Porter (19-0) vs. Alfonso Gomez (23-5-2)

Boxing 360’s Pick: I like Porter. He has all-around skills. He doesn’t have super power or speed but he does possess good boxing skills. He can defend, throw combinations, and has a solid chin.

Gomez is a good fighter and welterweight is a good weight for him. I could easily see him winning this fight.

I like the youth and overall skill of Porter to beat Gomez by decision. But it will be a good fight.
