Last week, Manny Pacquaio held is typical media day at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, CA for his December 8 HBO PPV against Juan Manuel Marquez in their fourth bout. We’re used to each camp and the accompanying HBO 24/7 to have a new twist. One year it was Manny’s distractions. Then it was his political career following by his re-discovered devotion to his religion. It’s always something with Manny.

In three separate interviews, the Pacquiao camp appears divided. The BoxingChannel.tv and Fighthub.tv’s Marcos Villegas talked to both Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach and his strength coach Alex Ariza and the two men seemed at odds about the upcoming fight.

In one interview, Freddie Roach says “strength trainers are bullsh*t and overrated” and then blames them for the performance enhancing drug problem in boxing.

Meanwhile, Ariza stopped just short of picking Marquez to win.

Manny Pacquiao himself hasn’t exactly shed light on the war between these two but his strategy did jibe with Roach’s take on things when he spoke to Maxboxing.com’s Radio Raheem.

What could be behind this war of veiled words and how does it affect the fight Saturday?
