Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario, CA

HBO

Robert Guerrero (30-1-1, 18 KOs) vs. Andre Berto (28-1, 22 KOs)

Berto vs. Guerrero
Andre Berto

Boxing 360 Picks: Fight of the Week. Berto has a history of trouble with southpaws but has a notable win over Carlos Quintana, stopping him in eight rounds following a serious arm injury. Berto carries power late and has more experience at welterweight, winning two titles and fighting his whole career there.

The southpaw Guerrero has one fight above 135 pounds and its a win at 147 over limited banger Selcuk Aydin. Is that enough to pull off the upset win? Probably not. Guerrero might be a better boxer but Berto is the better welter. Berto by late stoppage or decision.

Keith Thurman (18-0, 17 KOs) vs. Carlos Quintana (29-3, 23 KOs)

Quintana vs. Thurman
Carlos Quintana

Boxing 360 Picks: This is a good fight. No one quite knows what Quintana has left at 154. Thurman is also an unknown quantity going from obscurity to HBO out of nowhere. We’re going with the upset. Quintana by decision.

Mamchester Arena, Manchester, England

Showtime

Ricky Hatton (45-2, 32 KOs) vs. Vyacheslav Senchenko (32-1, 21 KOs)

Hatton vs. Senchenko

Boxing 360 Picks: There is only one Ricky Hatton and its great to have him back. It is impossible to know what he has left after three years away. But looking at the returns of other great fighters like Sugar Ray Leonard or Felix Trinidad (we know Hatton doesn’t fight like them) that first fight back summons the last vestiges of greatness and passion from the fighter. We expect that to be the case here. Hatton by TKO.
